In Job Interviews it's all in the Wording

It's all in your wording: What if the phone rang and a customer was at the counter at the same time? -- You would? Answer the phone and ask the person to hold then take care of the person at the window? Yes; Then when done: Answer the phone politely thanking the person for holding. Knowledge and willingness to learn is what will get you a second interview. People skills and how you word your answers to a question with a negative response are some good things to be aware of. For Example If No is the answer to a question one possible way to word it could be 'Not me personally' vs. No. or No Way.' Potential employers will not call candidates if they did not get the position available or even a second interview. Not during an interview but perhaps at the tail end of an interview you could state that you look forward to hearing from them again. This may trigger a time frame to be expecting a call. If not, don't worry. This does not mean that you are not still being considered. You may still have gotten the position.
